Vapour Shower Pucks
Ingredients:
- 2 cups baking soda
- 2/3 cup water (or enough to make a paste)
- Essential oils of your choice
- Muffin tin
- Foil liners
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line tray with foil liners. Mix baking soda and water to form a thick paste. Pour by the spoonful into tray. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Top with essential oils of your choice. Place on shower floor and enjoy the vapours.
Lavender Mint Bath Salts
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Epsom salts
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1/4 cup dead sea salt (optional)
- 30 drops of lavender essential oil
- 10 drops of peppermint essential oil
- Mini mason jars
Directions:
Combine all ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Once mixed, package into mini mason jars.
Exfoliating Coffee Scrub
Ingredients:
- 1 cup ground organic coffee
- 1 cup organic sugar or salt
- 1/2 cup organic coconut oil
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon (optional)
- 1 tbsp vanilla (optional)
Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl until well combined. If your coconut oil is solid, gently heat it until it melts and wait for it to cool before adding the other ingredients. This is to make sure that your exfoliants don’t dissolve in the oil! Once mixed, package scrub in small mason jars.
Doggy Paw Butter
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp olive, sunflower, or sweet almond oil
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp Shea butter
- 4 tsp beeswax
Directions:
In a small pot or double boiler over low heat melt the oils, Shea butter, cocoa butter, and beeswax. Stir continuously until all is melted and well blended. Carefully pour the mixture into lip balm tubes and/or tins. Let them cool on the counter until hard. Apply the balm as a preventive treatment or to help soften dry paw pads or noses.
